Following the Cultural Audit it was highlighted that LGBTQ+ members experiences in RLSS UK could be improved. 

A Working Group was formed in 2023 and the some of the actions they are working on are as follows:

• Launch a Network for all RLSS UK LGBTQ+ members to attend.
• Reach new audiences in the Organisation providing support for all, including advice to branches.
• Attend Pride events across the UK and Ireland to allow a new and exciting way for members to volunteer and raise the profile of the charity.
• Be advocats for Transgender people and influence sport policies for fair increased participation in Lifesaving Sport.
